ESSP is delighted to be a registered provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Delivering services for Agency Managed, Plan Managed and Self-Managed Participants, we are grateful for the opportunity to deliver therapeutic supports for a broad range of people living with swallowing and/or communication challenges in the context of disability.

  • • Autism

    • Genetic conditions and syndromes such as Niemann-Pick Disease, Down Syndrome and more
    • Atrophies and dystrophies
    • Blindness and hearing loss
    • Neurological conditions such as Dementia, Parkinson’s Disease and more

  • • Comprehensive communication and /or swallowing assessments in private homes, group homes and/or in our rooms in Darlinghurst
    • Preparation and implementation of Mealtime Management Plans with arrangements for annual review made
    • NDIS compliant reporting to referring coordinators, medical staff and NDIS representatives at the time of initial assessment, progress time-points, and in preparation for NDIS plan reviews
    • Participant-centred goal setting
    • Regular delivery of evidence-based therapy targeting the specific goals of each participant in consultation with care givers and significant others
    • Assessment for and implementation of Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) options including PECS, text to speak apps, voice banking and more
